Ed and Darlene Weber have been missionaries in Kabinburi, Thailand since 2001.  Their ministry includes Bible studies, evangelism opportunities through adult English classes for the local factory workers; Bible and English classes for children on the weekends and Hope House for “at risk” girls.    Upon  completion of Hope House last year,  a family of four sisters were the first to arrive. Ed had inquired of Pastor Pratuan, their partner from Compassionate Hope, if he had any girls for Hope House. They found that a family of 5 brothers and 4 sisters were orphaned when their father and mother were incarcerated.  An uncle became the care taker but was financially unable to take care of the them and therefore he gave the children to Pastor Pratuan. Pastor Pratuan kept the five brothers and sent the four sisters to Hope House. The sisters are Lucy 3, Ruby 7, Star 11 and Wee 15 and they are very happy to be together as a family at Hope House.  They have since added 4 other girls to the home. Please pray for the salvation of the Hope House girls; the adult Bible classes and the children’s Bible classes and for the salvation of those who attend the adult English classes.

Unwanted by Man, Rescued and Restored by Jesus

Maya (mah-yah) recently became our 8th rescue at Hope Home. She is Goldie’s cousin.  Her mother and father separated and mom left Maya with dad. We were contacted by the father to take Maya.  Her mother had no idea that the father gave her away until she saw our Facebook post.  She was very happy to know her daughter was in a safe place where she would be loved. This is a sad yet true reality for many children in Thailand as well as South East Asia.  We are so thankful for our partnership with Compassionate Hope Foundation which allows us to rescue “the least of these” one leader at a time.
